PURPOSE AND SPHERE OF APPLICATION
3-PC forged and welded flanged ball valves ser. Energy DN10 -150 PN100 are intended to control the flows (opening/ shutting) of liquid and gaseous media in the process lines at oil-refining and construction plants, as well as at, gas, food, chemical, and other industries. Distinctive features of these valves are advanced reliability and “ball in supports” design which provides optimal torque at increased pressure.
 
VALVE DESIGN
The through ball valve consists of the valve body (10) and the caps (13) bolted together by stud bolts (17). The PTFE ball seats (9) within the bushings (2) press the ball (15) by the disk washers (14). The bushings (2) are sealed with the rubber o-rings (22). The ball revolves on the center pins (11) and (12). The blowout proof valve stem (18) is sealed with two gaskets (6) and (7). The body is sealed with the joint gaskets (5). Underside the body there is a screw plug (4) with a plug seal (8). The working medium can be admitted to any of the caps. Valve shifting is performed by turning handle (16) through 90 degrees. The valve can be mounted on the pipeline in any attitude position required.
