3-PC Flanged ball valves Ser. Potok, 100 FB39 PURPOSE AND SPHERE OF APPLICATION 3-PC forged and welded Flanged ball valves FB 39 Ser. Potok are intended to be fitted as stop/shutoff valves in water and gas-supply systems, in the heat-power engineering and housing and communal services as well as in the process lines at chemical and oil-refining plants, at pulp-and-paper milks and other production facilities using fluid, gaseous as well as corrosive working media. The blowout proof valve stem (5) is sealed with three gaskets (9) tighten the stem nut (13) and spring loaded by spring washers (12). The body ball (3) is sealed with the ball seats (8) and rubber rings (11). The cap-body joining is sealed with rubberized asbestos fabric joint gaskets (7). Valve shifting is performed by turning handle (6) through 90 degrees. The valve can be mounted on the pipeline in any attitude position required.
