Check valves FB41 PURPOSE AND SPHERE OF APPLICATION Check valves are intended to prevent backflow of working medium in the process lines at chemical and oil-refining plants, as well as at pulp-and-paper milks and other production facilities using fluid, gaseous as well as corrosive working media. | VALVE DESIGN The check ball valve consists of the body (1) and two caps (2) bolted together by stud bolts (8) and sealed with joint gaskets (9). When supplying the working medium into the valve (4) the latter is moving within the stop (3) hole compressing the spring (5) and providing the admission of the medium. When cutting off the medium the valve closes under the action of the spring. To provide the leak-proofness of closed valve the latter is sealed with the valve seal (6). To provide valve capacity for work in corrosive media the seat, the spring and the stem are made of corrosion-resistant steel. The working medium can be admitted to the cap according to the pointer on the valve body.
