FOBOS Joint Stock Company was founded in 1992 in Rybinsk which is situated in 350 km from Moscow, and initially specializes in constructing and manufacturing of innovative types of stop and control pipeline ball valves.
Manually operated, pneumatically and electrically actuated ball valves with standard size from 6 to 300 mm make general part of FOBOS product line. They are widely used as stop and control valves in oil & gas industries, in food processing, petroleum and chemical processing, and other related industries, as well as in gas supply facilities and thermal power engineering.
Our enterprise is a continuous supplier of ball valves for major Russian oil-refining companies, as "Surgutneftegas", "Lukoil", "Slavneft", "Kriogenmash", "Power machines", and others.
FOBOS JSC was founded firstly as engineering firm consisting of 5 members. At present the company counts 150 employees. Annual turnover of the company is 6,5 million dollars. Quality Management System of the company is certified by standard ISO 9001:2000 with accreditation by UKAS (Great Britain).
FOBOS trademark is well known in Russia and abroad; the client base counts more than 2,5 thousand enterprises of different branches of industry. The representative offices of the company function in Moscow, Saint-Petersburg, Almaty, Minsk, and other cities.
Social policy of the enterprise is directed to development of conditions of work: the salary is one of the highest in the region; all the social guaranties are observed, there is trade union in the firm. FOBOS Company furnishes a financial assistance to children's home, creative circles, and sports organizations.
FOBOS JSC makes an important contribution to the region economics; the company is rewarded for this with diplomas of the Governor of Yaroslavl region and the mayor of Rybinsk.
In 2001 The French Association of Encouragement of Industry rewards FOBOS Joint Stock Company by Gold medal of SPI for high quality of the production and development.
In 2004 the FOBOS JSC is nominated for the Main All-Russian Prize "Russian National Olympus" in the nomination "An outstanding enterprise of small-scale business"
