Sight glasses FB08 PURPOSE AND SPHERE OF APPLICATION Flanged sight glasses intended to check visually the presence of liquid and gaseous medium flows in the process lines at food, chemical, and oil-refining plants, as well as at construction, natural gas, and other industries. | SIGHT PORT DESIGN The straightway and angle-way sight ports (Figure 1, 2) consist of the body 1, two glasses 4, the luminaire 8*, two flanges 3, the switch 9, seal gaskets 2, 5 and the luminaire mounting components. The glasses are attached to the body by flanges and secured by four bolts 12 and nuts 13. There is the luminaire outside one of the glasses; the other is intended to inspect the working medium. The sight ports with mating flanges are supplied on special request.
